My First "LITTLE" Blog

For as long as I can remember, I have loved miniatures and wanted to start my "Little Hobby". Having difficulty knowing where to start, I'm going a little (no pun intended) crazy, jumping around making one thing after another with no rhyme or reason. Still, I'm having fun! (and spending a little too much money at Michaels on tools etc. (sshhh don't tell my husband!))

Recently, I became addicted to PINTEREST, and one of the "boards" that I created is my 60 before 60. Since I don't want to ever think about "kicking the bucket", I've decided to make a list of things that I've always wanted to do... and make an effort to get them done before I'm 60! This gives me 8.65 years? I'm guessing.

In an effort to decide where I want to really START on my miniatures, I decided to build some scenes based on things that are on my 60 before 60 list. For example, I've always wanted to have a beautiful picnic under a gigantic, lonely oak tree, wearing a gloriously big, flowery hat.

Although I admittedly have become quite addicted to "pinning", I HAVE been finding beautiful "Minspirations"on the internet and REALLY hope to follow through. We'll see. A beautiful blog that I just came across today for inspiration is this one: A Gathering Place

Since I'm new to blogging I'm not sure if that will link back to her site but I will definitely try again if it doesn't. Check out the contest that Rebecca has going. I'm itchin' for that Vintage Train Case. I'm not sure if Canadians are included in the contest but I'm sure going to make an effort!
